Our Story
V-Student was born from a simple observation: too many bright students struggle with maths not because they can't understand it, but because they're too afraid to ask questions.
As a consultant working with schools across Ireland, our founder saw the same pattern repeatedly. Students who were failing weren't "bad at maths" — they were embarrassed to admit they didn't understand. They'd nod along in class, then go home and struggle in silence.
Traditional tutoring helps, but it's expensive (€50/hour), limited to weekly slots, and some students still feel judged. We realized what students needed was something always available, infinitely patient, and completely judgment-free.
That's why we built V-Student. An AI tutor that uses the Socratic method to guide students to discover answers themselves, aligned to their exact curriculum (GCSE, Junior Cert, ACARA, IB), available 24/7 when they're stuck on homework at 11pm.
No student should feel dumb for asking questions. With V-Student, they never have to.
